Chapter Bio
San Diego Model Car club was founded in 1987 to cater to the automobile enthusiast and model car builder. Our membership has, over that time included everyone from the novice to modeler who build models for model kit companies corporate displays. We enjoy the local contest environment as much as the national level competition. We have several events every year in conjunction with Escondido's Cruisin' Grand.
This club continues to have high level modeler who are more than happy to share tips and techniques with any builder from beginner to well seasoned veterans. All we ask, is that you love model building, whether you just want a quick model for your book shelf or aspire to be recognized at the national level. Join a group that would love to have you.
