Chapter Bio
The Dayton Area Plastic Modelers Society (DAPMS)
is one of the oldest International Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS) chapters in the United States. We are represented through various displays around the country. The Packard Museum, The Museum of the United States Air Force, both in Dayton, The Pentagon, and The Smithsonian in Washington D.C. all contain work by members of DAPMS. We maintain a laid-back approach focusing on the importance of each individual skill level. We believe that it is easier to enhance your skill when you are encouraged and supported through teaching, and sharing therefore we emphasize the support of the modeler, and encourage their development.
