Chapter Bio
The Pensacola Modeleers came about after the hobby shop closed and Jim Scott and John Struck had a few beers in 1997. (After all, no great idea happens over a salad!)
We are a group dedicated to promoting the art and fun of building scale models. We encourage all genres of modeling, from military and civilian subjects, to fantasy and other flights of imagination.
The club sponsors a number of community activities each year, including public displays, contests and make-it/take-it workshops for younger builders. The group has also contributed a number of models to museums.
The club is open to anyone who wants to develop their skills, learn about the hobby and have a good time. Membership skill levels range from beginners to Nationals winners.
